Zangeres werkt samen met Iggy Pop op nieuwe album.

Vandaag ligt WARRIOR in de winkel, het nieuwe album van Ke$ha. WARRIOR is de opvolger van haar debuutalbum ANIMAL uit 2010.

WARRIOR is geproduceerd door Dr. Luke (Katy Perry, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj) en bevat samenwerkingen met onder andere will.iam, The Black Keys en The Strokes.

Ook wist ze Iggy Pop voor een duet te strikken. Ke$ha hierover; “I obviously respect the hell out of him, but for him to respect me enough to actually put his name on something and collaborate with me was incredibly flattering as an artist. ”

Ke$ha over haar nieuwe album; “I am so excited to finally share WARRIOR with all of my amazing ANIMALS. I’ve been working for a year on this new record and have collaborated with some of my idols. This process has been long and intense and I couldn’t be more stoked to share this music. I hope with WARRIOR my fans get to know me in a much more raw and vulnerable way.”

Kesha brak in 2010 wereldwijd door met haar debuutalbum ANIMAL. In dat jaar werd ze benoemd tot Billboard’s Hot 100 artist en debuutsingle “TiK ToK” stond op nummer 1 van Billboard’s Hot 100 Song.

ANIMAL werd wereldwijd meer dan 2.5 miljoen keer verkocht.
