Zanger eindelijk weer met zijn band The Black Seeds in Nederland.
Zondag 17 november geven Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds een concert in de Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam. De voorverkoop voor dit concert begint aanstaande vrijdag om 10 uur.
Vijf jaar na hun laatste album Dig, Lazarus, Dig! en een uitverkocht concert in de Heineken Music Hall brengen Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds deze week een nieuw album uit. Push The Sky Away is net als de drie voorgaande studioalbums – Nocturama (2003), Abattoir Blues/ The Lyre of Orpheus (2004) en Dig, Lazarus, Dig! (2008) – geproduceerd door Nick Launay, die ook de twee Grinderman studio albums produceerde.
Over de samenwerking met de bandleden bij de totstandkoming van dit album zegt Cave: “I enter the studio with a handful of ideas, unformed and pupal; it’s the Bad Seeds that transform them into things of wonder. Ask anyone who has seen them at work. They are unlike any other band on earth for pure, instinctive inventiveness.”
