Gitaarvirtuoos Andy Summers (The Police) geeft vier soloshows in Nederland.

Andy Summers, de gitarist van The Police, komt voor vier solo-shows naar Nederland. In september en oktober van dit jaar staat Andy in TivoliVredenburg (Utrecht), Oude Luxor Theater (Rotterdam), SPOT (Groningen) en Musis (Arnhem). De ticketverkoop start op vrijdag 4 maart om 10.00 uur via www.greenhousetalent.nl.

Met “Harmonics of the Night” brengt Andy een unieke solo-performance met muziek van zijn eigen albums, en natuurlijk The Police. Hij creëert een soundscape waarin zijn meest bekende opnames te horen zijn, zoals Metal Dog, Round Midnight, Triboluminescence en hits van The Police zoals Roxanne en Message In A Bottle – en natuurlijk werk van zijn laatste album ”Harmonics of the Night”. Dit is een unieke kans om de rocklegende op een bijzondere manier te leren kennen in een intieme setting.

Over de show zegt Andy zelf: “This show is a multimedia performance where I play guitar to several orchestrated sequences of photography that I have shot all over the world, from Africa to India, Japan to China, and of course the USA. The music that I play is cutting-edge guitar music, also Jazz, Bossa Nova, Ballads, and ends with a stunning climax in a very special rendition of one of the great Police hits.” @Greenhouse Talent
